CASA LUI FRED is a former small farm with a carpentry shop in Cincu/Großschenk, which was built around 1888 by Saxons from Transylvania. The place is located in the middle of the Carpathians and near the geographical center of Romania.

The house has been lovingly renovated by the owner, with emphasis on retaining the original style. The renovation will be carried out with local workers, mostly using old, reused materials and traditional craft methods.

CASA LUI FRED is located close to the outskirts of the city with a view of the fortified church, hills, fields and – when visibility is good – the Făgăraș mountains.

Just a few kilometers from the house begins the gentle hilly landscape of the Harbachtal with forests, fields, pastures – pure peace and nature.
